Leo, I have a problem with the pop ups that are always popping up in front of me. I am currently running a Windows XP Home Edition. There are pop ups telling me that I have to buy some virus scanner to fix the problem but Norton Antivirus wont let me Please Help Me

Yessirree, that’s spyware for you—telling you to install something to cure the problem, but if you actually installed it, you’d infect the system completely…so it’s a good thing that Norton is stopping you from installing. Instead, install Microsoft’s Defender (www.microsoft.com/defender), and Spybot S&D (www.safer-networking.org) to see if you can scour away the nasties that are already on your system. There’s always the chance, once you’ve been infected, that you may have to wipe your drive clean and start again from scratch, if you really want to be safe.
