I have a .Mac membership. I use apples backup program to backup my information to my idisk. My question is, how secure is this since all my information is on apples site? Thanks

You have to trust the place storing your stuff. Having said that, I’m pretty sure you can trust Apple. Unfortunately they don’t publish any information about how they protect your data. I would prefer a service that encrypts your data before transmitting it and keeps it encrypted on their servers. I can’t tell whether dot-mac does that.
