I want to buy an MP3 player, but iPods are kind of pricey. I only really use iTunes for all my music, and some of that music isn’t in MP3 format just right off the CD. Does iTunes sync up with any other music players? Is there a program that can sync them up? Or should I just go with the iPod?

iTunes only works with iPods. You don’t have to use iTunes, however. Windows Media Player does much the same thing, and it will sync with every single other MP3 player on the market. I like the iRiver and Creative Zen players.

Each file or folder on a given drive is displayed in a box in the main window whose size is a relative comparison to all the other files in your system. So, for example, if the "Windows" box takes up 90% of the screen, the "C:\Windows" folder and all its sub-folders and files are taking up 90% of your "C:" drive.
