Episode #71
I’m interested in upgrading my podcast, its a bit low-fi right now, and i’m wondering how i can feed it to people via BitTorrent, RSS feeds, iTunes, and things like getting the right equipment, high quality microphones, mixing boards, etc. make it bigger with listeners and wondering if i should buy a website domain as well?

Start by creating a web site. You don’t have to have a dedicated domain name, but if you don’t have a web site there’s nowhere for people to go to learn about your podcast. If you use the free www.wordpress.com, www.libsyn.com, and www.feedburner.com, you can create a professional look and get your podcast on itunes where people can find it.
As for equipment, you don’t have to spend much. You’ve already got Garageband. Buy an inexpensive headset mic like the Plantronics DSP-400 and you’re set.
