Episode #69
Hi Leo, been watching your show n g4tech tv canada for a few months now, and ive learned quite a bit of nifty info. anyways my question for today is about wireless routers. im pretty sure you can setup a wireless router as an access point. i have two routers in my home. one is a D-Link DI-524 and a Linksys. there both 2.4ghz wireless routers. the linksys is the main one with the cable internet modem connected to it. the other one i want to get it to see my network with the linksys wirelessly. if you or your techies have any input on this it would be appreciated. thanx and i will continue to watch your amazing show.

It’s definitely possible to do this — you just have to set one of the routers up in "bridge" or "client" mode, so that it essentially acts as a repeater for the wireless router hooked up to your Internet connection. How you do this will largely depend on the exact models of routers you have. Here’s one tutorial on how to do just this, using one Linksys and one D-Link router, found on Anandtech’s forums:
