Changing from Windows to Mac

My girlfriend plans on going Mac sometime soon, and I’ve also been interested for some time now. The only thing holding us back is the fear of getting used to a new OS. Are there any guides or sites (or even some of your own suggestions) to help the transition or to get us started off? Anything to look for when purchasing a Mac? Any accessories which are must-have?

It’s not going to be as hard as you think. Get a three button mouse, for sure. It’s a much easier transition if you don’t have to deal with Apple’s religious zeal for the one button (or pseudo two button) mouse.

Buy Microsoft Office if you use it on Windows - it will make you feel more at home.
