Hi team, I’m looking at upgrading my pc “box” and getting veru confused about all the various CPU’s out there and not sure what is the most approperate for my work,. Generally doing low end gamings (Sims) MYOB and MSoffice / internet surfing and site maintenance. Currently running a P4 2.6Ghz with 1 Gig memory and 128M video.

Almost any modern processor will do for you. In fact, your existing system is more than powerful enough for your simple needs. I like the Core 2 Duos - they offer the best bang for the buck.
