I would like to start making songs on my computer. I have small sound clips, but I need a program to bring them all together. Is there a good program for that could loop the clips, and have a number of tracks that I could add different clips to?

On the Mac side of the equation this is pretty easy — you’d just plug all of the sound clips into GarageBand, which comes free with all new Macs. On the Windows side of the equation you’ll need to get special software. You might want to take a look at Fruity Loops Studio, which you can try out for free and then pay for if you want to keep using it. You can download it at www.fruityloops.com
