A summary of history of 4:3 and 16:9, using slides from Keynote presentation. Film has a number of aspect ratios, but that TV has only two. Examples from Electric Playground, which was originally shot in 4:3 but then moved to 16:9. HDTV and the future shape of TV will probably be 16:9. www.mrexcel.com

While writing Special Edition Using Excel 2007, I endeavored to find a real-life use for all 351 of Excel’s functions. During this process, I ran across these functions: Convert teaspoons to tablespoons, kilometers to nautical miles, and every other measurement you can imagine. Convert your reports to roman numerals (great for reporting bad financial news). Calculate the number of workdays elapsed between two dates, factoring in company holidays. Calculate Texas Hold-Em probabilities. Calculate your car payment for your next car loan.
