    There were a few really notable announcements at NAB. First, Apple released Final Cut Pro Studio 2 which adds podcasting tools to Soundtrack and Compressor, 3D to Motion and a whole new application, Color, for Color Correction.

    Adobe announced the a new Adobe Media Player which will let Flash run in it’s own environment. This will be a big deal as interactive media becomes more important next year.

    The Red Camera continues to dominate camera coverage even though no one has one yet. Peter Jackson (from Lord of the Rings fame) shot a short on it which caused long lines into the booth all week.
