Connecting PC to TV

I have a 42 inch Sharp Aquos LCD TV. It has 2 HDMI ports on it and I wanted to use it as a PC monitor. Only Problem is, my computer does not support HDMI. I Bought an HDMI to DVI Connector, only to find out that my computer also does not support DVI. So I bought a DVI to VGA connector. How could I connect my TV to be compatible with my Desktop computer.

You need a VGA to DVI connector - sounds like you’ve got one. Now you need to set your PC to a resolution your TV can handle. The best would be something close to the native resolution of the TV. In this case that’s 1365 x 768 (or if you have a newer 1080p Aquos 1920×1080).
