I currently have a laptop which I’ve connected to a large screen display measuring 32″ inchs through the VGA port on my laptop. I was wondering if there existed a web browser or some kind of program that made it possible to browse the internet from a distance of about 9 feet (sitting on my couch let’s say).

Most browsers will let you adjust the text size to make it more readable. You can also create a custom CSS file with larger fonts and buttons to suit your larger screen. But I don’t know of any browsers built for this situation.

It’s definitely thicker than your typical iPod protective case, but a lot more compact that most speakers…and hey, it sounds just fine for its size.
