  • Kinzin: “Inside and Out” - Creating Online Private Spaces For Families To Share, Talk and Play
Chief Product and Innovation Officer, Kinzin

Kinzin helps close friends and families create virtual private social networks for connecting, communicating, and sharing in online gathering places for families that are safe and secure.

“These Are My Kids” is a web application that is perfect for showing your kids off to the ones who love them while keeping them hidden from everyone else. What is so unique about “These Are My Kids” is that the application and all the material and content uploaded to it is easily accessible through the web, email, Facebook and even postal mail. We understand that different family members expect to consume information in different ways, and we want everyone to be comfortable.

Parents can upload images from a computer, or use images already online, to create beautiful “books” that can be shared and treasured. If the parent is a Facebook user then they can create the books within Facebook. Otherwise, they can log in through the kids.kinzin.com website.

“These Are My Kids” books and profiles can only be viewed by people invited to the space, while hiding the material from anyone else. If you forget to invite someone, they can ask to be invited.

Parents can send their books to friends and family who only use email or even postal mail. If the book recipient is online, he or she can comment through the web. All authentication is accomplished using special URLs and cookies so Grandma never needs to sign up to a website or remember a password.

Parents can also share their books with friends and family who do not use the Internet by ordering physical books that can be delivered directly to their houses.
