Episode #16
Hello, I am running Windows XP and nothing else out of the ordinary. Recently a friend of mine received an email from someone under the guise of “R. Guy” with the email theguy6495@hotmail.com. The email was trying to incite a fight between this friend of mine and his girlfriend (yes I understand this is a very high school question, but I am 21 and almost finished university). Problems pursued and now my friend does not believe that I was not the one that sent the original email because the guise email also featured “6495? w hich is prominent in my email address. Simply put, I would like to find out some way of figuring out who sent this email under the guise of me. It is likely someone I know and they likely live in the same general area. I haven’t really tried anything yet (like searching IP’s) because I wanted to let Call for Help have a crack at my problem first. If there is anything else that needs clarification I would be glad to provide more information. Thanks for your time.

I’m afraid that without the help of Microsoft (who provides the Hotmail service) you can’t learn anything. And they will only respond to a request from a police or government agency.
