I want to compile a mailing list of all my customers (I sell online in a variety of avenues). Looking for an inexpensive and easy to use online program, which is secure so I can start sending newsletters plus be able to keep a record of repeat customers. Currently I am on windows XP but in a few weeks going to Vista (but will have it with dual boot)

The mailing list is easy, but if you want to track sales as well you’ll have to integrate it into your ecommerce system (or enter their names manually). Many ecommerce systems have mailing list capabilities. Of course, there are lots of standalone online email list solutions, ranging from the original listserv, to the open source mailman, to more modern marketing focused solutions like http://www.mailworkz.com.
