Hello I just purchased a new 24 inch iMac with the os Leopard. It’s my first Mac and I am learning the ins and outs. I installed iWorks. My question is the following; Is it possible to switch languages on the fly for the keyboard? (ex, typing in english and typing in french) In Microsoft Vista with Office you have a language bar that you can switch from french to english. And my second question is; Is it possible to have 2 dictionaries in pages?

If you open the System Preferences under the Apple menu and select International, you can change languages. Select the Input Menu tab and you can pick the languages you want to work with then add the Input Menu to the menu bar so you can easily change language in any OS X application.
As for multiple dictionaries in Pages, I’m not sure.

Who wants to vacuum anyhow? Not me. iRobot has introduced new Roomba Vacuum Cleaning robots, including this particular model. You can set up your robot to vacuum on a schedule or you can just tap the “clean” button on top and off it’ll go…and if all goes well it should vacuum up the grit and then find its own way back to the charging cradle. It comes with two beacons that can be used as a “lighthouse” or as a “virtual wall”, to make sure the Roomba goes to places you want it to go…or to stay away from them entirely. The Roomba DOES seem to follow a fairly erratic path (scaring housepets as it goes)…but it DOES seem to get the job done.
