Just got an iMac. My Canon Color Imageclass MF8180c is not supported on Mac platform says Canon. Do I have other options? Thanks

You can often get printers that aren’t officially supported on Macintosh working by using the GIMP-Print drivers and CUPS printer system. Visit http://gutenprint.sourceforge.net/p_Supported_Printers.php3 for a list of supported CUPS GIMP-Print printers.
Multifunction printers like your Canon, however, may never work. Canon says Apple is the problem - Apple says it’s Canon’s fault.
