Using the free cross-platform Scratch environment from MIT, Randal
demonstrates how to create a chain of cars that responds to and follow
the mouse. He also shows how to break into Scratch
to show that it’s really Squeak Smalltalk behind the scenes.

If you’ve ever wanted the ability to upload pictures to the Internet directly from your camera, now you can! Eye-Fi is an SD memory card with additional functionality that uploads your pictures wirelessly and automatically to your computer, or a photo-sharing site like Flickr, or both.
When you setup Eye-Fi, you choose where you want it to upload, and if you choose to have it sent to a photo sharing site, you’ll see you have almost any choice. The sad thing is you have to choose only one. You can also choose to have the photos uploaded as private or public. If there’s a chance of embarrasing pictures being sent to all your friends and family, I’d suggest setting it to private! You can easily change the appropriate ones to public when you’re ready.
