I’ve been playing the new game called the Orange box and when i was playing it was running extremely slow on a new computer (vista, Radeon X1650 pro 512 MB,over a gig in memory) and its just been running really slow could you maybe tell me why?

Microsoft never intended you to stick with Vista Home Basic - it’s a cheap teaser edition. I’m sure they intend everyone who buys it to upgrade to Home Premium. Chief among its deficits is the limitation to 1GB of RAM. Orange Box just won’t run with that little RAM. Before you spend money for an upgrade though you should make sure you have a sufficiently powerful video card and CPU, too!
