  • Screen Replacement

See how the pro’s add Monitor graphics for Films

When you are watching films, you may wonder how the actors work with those on-screen graphics and still remember their lines. The answer is…they often don’t. Instead, we often us screen replacement software like Imagineering Systems’ Monet. We can have an actor work with the screen knowing that we’ll handle it later. We then simply identify the corners of the screen and Monet tracks the screen and adds the reflections and highlights back into to the shot.

In addition to screens, as you saw on the show, you can replace billboards from even moving clips. This is used more often than you can imagine…but, if you noticed…it didn’t work. With applications like Monet, that doesn’t happen too often.
