I have a Nokia N95 (No iphone for me) and Im having some real annoyances when it comes to video podcasts. I am able to download some podcasts and watch them fine (such as GeekBreif and MobiBuzz) but other’s (Diggnation, Digital Underground, Podcast Salad). Of course all of the Twit podcasts work because they are in mp3 format. I am currently downloading Diggnation in Xvid format and watching it in Mobile DivX player, but as the video is encoded at a standard pc bitrate I have problems with video and voise sync. I am downloading Podcast salad and Digital Underground in h.264 format and/or Ipod format (not sure if they are one and the same as the both appear as m4p) I guess the best solution is to re-encode the files once they have downloaded to mp4 or 3gp but that takes far too long.

There are a couple of issues with watching video on cell phones. First, you have to get video in a format that’s supported by the cell phone’s built-in video player, or download a player that can handle the video you want to watch. Second, even if the video is compatible the phone itself might not be powerful enough to handle higher quality video. That’s why the sound and picture are getting out of sync. Experimenting with different codecs and video sizes will give you a good idea of which formats are best for your phone.
Your N95 likes h.264 best. According to The Nokia Blog, http://thenokiablog.com/2007/04/10/how-to-convert-movies-tv-episodes-vid..., choose a 320×240 resolution and a 700kbps data rate when encoding (or re-encoding) for the N95.

The Minimap Addon gives you a suite of in-built maps and mapping tools for your web browser. Create and save a sidebar map using the addresses or address links you find on web pages (highlight then drag and drop), or by manually adding locations. View traffic Info, drag and drop kml files, local search, Google, Yahoo and Live Local directions, view in google earth, tagzania, platial, geourl and many more. Address/Location points are stored locally for later use.
This extension comes with two mapping components, the main and most powerful one being a minimap sidebar. In this sidebar you can drag and drop addresses or locations you find on web pages and they will be automatically located, and added to your saved address list. The sidebar is launched from the toolbar icon (customise toolbar and drag in), a statusbar icon and the view sidebar menu. The extension also comes with a main browser Map Tab for viewing a larger map and this is accessed from the statusbar or by highlighting an address, and selecting ‘Map Tab: Locate Address…’ in the right click context menu. A few of the extension features available:
* Map an Address: Drag and drop addresses or links (the view in google/yahoo type) to show on map, which is added to the address list (hold shift when you drag to just display a temporary marker). Manually add an address. Build up a list of locally stored addresses.
* Map a Coordinate: Manually add a coordinate which is added to the address list.
