Grocery time can be a huge ordeal — just putting together the list can take forever. The SmartShopper is designed to make things easier…just hang it from the fridge using the built=in magnets, and whenever you realize you’re out of something, just press the “record” button and say the name of the item. Voice recognition will kick in and allow you to add the item to the list, provided it’s in the SmartShopper’s vocabulary. That doesn’t include a lot of brand names by default, but you can add your own personalized items…voice recognition isn’t 100% (it may stumble on accents) but you can refine recognition on most items. When you’re done, just press the print button and it’ll print out a shopping list, broken down into the areas of the supermarket where they’re typically located.
