Ray has spent most of his 40 year career as an Electronics Engineer working in the areas of H.F. communication, remote sensing, satellite ground stations, computerized flight dispatch and many other areas. In the last decade he has specialized in the area of Colour Science, digital photography, and offset printing, half-tone and inkjet proofing. Ray is an owner and operator of a 22 mega pixel professional camera system. He also does real-time support during digital shoots for commercial photographers in the Vancouver area. In addition he was a Beta tester for Adobe Photoshop CS3. He is currently doing technical support for a PBS video production that is being produced in Vancouver. Ray has been a guest speaker at many professional photography and printing organizations and schools. Ray has also piloted both gliders and power planes in the movies and television commercials. He flew a glider in a automobile commercial that aired at the halftime of the Supper Bowl. Ray is a regular guest of The Lab and teaches us about colour science, digital photography, image software, and how to juggle.
