Jeff Macpherson is the creative mind behind one of the Internets first and most successful Video Podcasts: Tiki Bar TV (www.tikibartv.com). Created in 2005, Tiki Bar TV quickly became one of the most downloaded podcasts on the Internet, holding #1 in the iTunes top 100 chart for four months running. Garnering the attention of Steve Jobs, CEO of Apple Computer, he used Tiki Bar TV to demonstrate the use of the Video iPod during his keynote speech. Tiki Bar TV recently ended a 6-month promotion in Apple stores worldwide. Furthermore, Tiki Bar TV clips were run in Target stores as part of a nationwide advertising campaign. Just recently, Tiki Bar TV was cited in the New York Times bestselling book The Long Tail: The New Economics of Commerce and Culture by Chris Anderson, Editor in Chief of Wired magazine. Prior to Tiki Bar TV, Jeff was a producer of music videos and television commercials for clients such as Toyota, Hyundai, and LG. During this time Jeff was also a writer on two feature films for First Look Home Entertainment and soon thereafter directed the feature, COME TOGETHER. The film premiered as a Special Presentation at the Vancouver International Film Festival in 2001 and won two awards at the New York International Independent Film Festival. Jeff was recently a panelist at the annual conference of Forbes MEET forum on the subject of video podcasts and the next video revolution. He has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, Wired Magazine, The National Post, CPU Magazine, Times.com, Businessweek, G4 TVs Attack of the show, eTalk Daily and CBS News among others. In July, Jeff was profiled in Forbes Magazine Celebrity100 Issue as "one of the first breakout stars in the world of Internet television".
